this is a poem i wrote the night before i chose my classes:
here are my options
where is my decision?
is it not present
never there when i need it
language genius? psychiatrist?
philosophy, physics of music
i never knew the two words even rhymed
business woman? advertisements?
musician, make something out of it?
how do i combine it all
into something with potential
that is my biggest question
i have it laid out in front of me
i'm just afraid to connect it
